System Inspector

The System Inspector gives you real-time visibility into your Companion Home server’s health — all from the browser.

Accessing the System Inspector

Navigate to Settings → System in your Companion Home dashboard. The System tab displays live metrics and container status at a glance.

What You Can Monitor

CPU Usage

View current processor utilisation as a percentage. This helps you identify if any app is consuming excessive resources.

Memory

See how much RAM is in use versus what’s available. If memory is consistently high, consider stopping unused apps or upgrading your hardware.

Disk Space

Monitor storage usage across your server. This is especially important if you’re running media-heavy apps like Immich or Jellyfin that can consume significant disk space over time.

Container List

The System tab also shows all running Docker containers with their current status. You can quickly see which apps are running, stopped, or in an error state.
