What is your CI Account?
Your CI Account at hub.ci.computer is the optional cloud companion to Companion Hub. It helps you pair devices, manage remote access, browse installs remotely, and connect your local Hub to broader account and organization workflows.
What it is for
- Device pairing — attach a local Hub to your account
- Remote management — see and manage paired Hubs away from home
- Public app exposure — manage Cloudflare-backed access flows
- Account controls — manage multiple paired devices from one dashboard
- Remote app workflows — trigger installs or changes from the web
A CI Account is optional. Companion Hub works fully on your local network without one.
When should you use it?
Create or sign in to a CI Account if you want one or more of the following:
- manage your Hub when you are away from the device
- publish selected apps through a safer managed access flow
- attach multiple Hubs to a single account
- organize devices across a household, lab, or team
Skip it if you only want a fully local setup and do not need remote control.
